It's Spring!
We have heard our favorite "songbird" the Red-Winged Blackbird. They're ba-ack! I realize they aren't the most sought-after bird in Wisconsin to see but my fam. likes them. They sound a lot prettier then they look and it means the promise of spring is here. Come on Bluebirds and start fighting for the birdhouses...we're waiting!

Where I grew up, we had a few swamp-like areas on our property and the red-winged blackbirds would sit on the cattails. Wonderful memory!
